They came from nowhere! Took a peek under the leaves to see what was happening, and they’re looking rather promising – especially given the sawfly that attacked last year.

How many gooseberries did you get last year mate? Or did the sawflies have ‘em all?
None last year – the sawflies ravaged the bush early on, so it was fruitless!
